"my way" smells like "interdit" and "libre" had a baby. I normally love white floral parfumes, tuberose and jasmin. My first full bottle since the beginning of my perfume hobby. I contemplated getting a bottle but chose other perfumes over this one as i wasnt IN LOVE with it. I immediately discovered something very familiar in this and after a while Burberry London for women came to my mind. It's nice but a little too bubble gum Sweet for me and not the type of sweet fragrance I enjoy.
Vanilla is more apparent an hour and a half later, never losing sight of the potent florals. I like it as a work fragrance, the opening is lovely and kind of sparkles in a way and as it warms up with me as I work the ambroxan comes out and gives the perfume an almost body wash type of vibe, which is great for me because I have an active job. I get the sweet bubblegum/white gummy bears comparison in the first 0.5 seconds, then as I keep smelling it a hideous bitter note comes into play. Very distinctive smell, too strong for me maybe, not a love at first sniff but gey better with time.
This is puzzlingI get an intense smell of a wild European variety of strawberry (Fragaria viridis, commonly called creamy strawberry). Thankful I got the travel size. I am definitely a white floral girl, and My Way really delivers them.
Please can someone tell me which top note/notes I'm smelling? IT'S A SEXY CITRUS FLORAL scent and I want to get the full bottle. It's really sparkly and energizing, dries to a creamy floral. This is a scent Id want to wear if I was trying to feel prepared, working, or maybe more specifically standing in line for the SATs. Someone below mentioned "guava candy" which I've never had or heard of, but now that's the only thing I can think of when I smell this. Projects very well and lasting power is amazing. An exhilarating musky white floral jasmine fragrance, its beautiful and a clean scent great for the spring or for gloomy, rainy days for an uplifting effect. Just look for a synthetic floral sweet generic scent. The sillage and longevity are moderate, but this scent isnt interesting enough to justify a FB purchase, although the drydown with the vanilla is quite lovely. Now I think mMy Way is a very complete feminine fragrance, it has the florals, the sweetness the sparkling note that makes it a pleasure to wear,it stays with you for hours and sillage is huge plus the compliments I get when I wear it flatter me so much. This is a much more toned down version of a bubble-gum tuberose scent. I had to try this out given all the hype around it. It will waft through the air. It's a scrubber for me.
I don't get much of the floral as I get "artificial sweet scent", which doesn't bother me at all, I quite like it. The dry down smells like rubbing alcohol on my skin. That alone makes it a no for me. I am beginning to come to the conclusion that Fragantica reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt.
The one who seems particularly lovely with perfect hair. it smelled like bubblegum in the most artificial way.
I had a sample of this. can't smell much of anything else. It doesnt smell artificial to me and it lasts well on my skin, with moderate projection. I don't care for White Florals or Tuberose at all. Very strong floral spring fragrance.
Fragrance Reviews: 1,286,900 It's tolerable, but any more and it would be sickening to me. Reminds me of Barbie I like this one a lot its a very uplifting scent, great performance also. 'my way' smells so sweet pretty n fresh!!
I don't know any other white florals that I would call subtle but not fresh, so I ended up liking my way a lot more than I thought I would. I used a sample and everytime i smelled it on myself i got nauseous, to my nose it smells completely different than I see in the reviews. Way too bubblegum-y for me. If I have to describe this scent I would say it's Bubbles from Powerpuff girls. Just another boring floral fragrance. It's sunny and bright, very comforting. I had a hard time agreeing with the reviewers who said it smelled like grape bubblegum. I wanted to love this one because I like GA and Carlos Benaim but i was disappointed, all I get is sweet artificial Jasmin.. Interestingly, the midnotes of this perfume are what you smell for the longest time and the cedar dry down just disappears. this is quite a surprising fragrance for me since i'm generally NOT a white floral fan! It hits me with the bubblegum tuberose and white floral richness and in the drydown I get more softness from the orange blossom. Smells like an Orange Julius mixed with a dash of Calyx and a few squirts of drugstore shampoo, under a cloud of hairspray. Not a safe blind buy in my opinion. I get a lot of floral and sweetness, some green notes as well- adding freshness. The musk, vanilla, and cedar at the end are very faint to my nose; even in complete dry-down, I feel that the tuberose and bergamot still overpower all three of the base notes (not to mention everything else). I think its perfect for a real life Barbie - my sister is Barbie-esque so it suits her (: Absolutely gorgeous spring/summer signature scent, it's sweet, floral, and smells a little like muscat grape candy. i have one of those teeny tiny sample things. I mean it's so good I'm speechless. All in all, an artificial, screechy, headache inducing mess.
I'm relieved, it's finally here*sigh*. This was my gateway drug into Tuberose. It's sweetened as well, which is good because if it was sharper it could smell like hairspray. how people can vote on the longevity and sillage if they did not tried it yet???? . I'll test it in summer time and update my review accordingly. Really didnt like it. A beautiful sweet and syrupy scent. I'll stick to my Armani Code, thanks . I imagine I would enjoy smelling it on someone else, despite not typically preferring such sweet scents. This is like a sexy grown up bubblegum. I think the other reviewers who are saying "grape" are picking up on the same note - only to me, it's more specifically guava, though it could probably be interpreted either way by different people.
Armani My Way Eau de Parfum Spray ri (57.80 EUR), Right now there are 3 items on or Many items for sale on, Perfume rating3.72out of5 with4,499 votes. I feel like a junkie. I dont get those things, but I think I can see why one might. It's worse than I expected. Its easy to love, easy to wear and makes me feel so beautiful! more like sweet, delicate florals, difficult to describe at first so you might have to concentrate to be able to describe it. Good sillage, average lasting about 4 hrs before can barely detect it on your skin.
I am just starting to really understand the subtleties of fragrances and this made me realize that I dislike tuberose. Perfect for everyday life and work! Nothing special The loud name My Way is too much exaggerated in my opinion. I cant believe that are so many negative reviews about this amazing perfume. Initially like the grape-ish scent that project at the beginning. I think it is the tuberose / vanilla / musk / cedar that brings out the big babol effect. Love that part! Its not the sexiest, most seductive perfume that would come to mind (then again, many have said Linterdt to be a man eater perfume, a fragrance which is comparable to My Way) but its for sure very elegant and beautiful - I could see this getting compliments!
A shame really.
Hate to love it. Nope, this is way too sharp and headache inducing for me, and I love white florals. That is all. | Deutsch | Espaol | Franais | etina | Italiano | | Polski | Portugus | | | Nederlands | Srpski | Romn | | | | |, Copyrights 2006-2022 Fragrantica.com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. I really love the orange blossoms in this scent (maybe because I live in an area where orange blossoms scent the air, so it smells like home). For those who are wondering if My Way resembles Sublime Epoque by Zara. yep. I smell peach on the first sprays. This is most certainly a very bright bursting white floral citrus. The opening is by far my favourite part of this scent, so uplifting and energizing. A great signature! It just throws the vibe off a bit. Very generic, kinda disappointing for Giorgio. I'm surprised that isn't a note listed here.
With first spray all i smell is wild strawberries! I also like to mix this with Gucci Bloom if I'm really feeling the tuberose note. I enjoy wearing this perfume, I would reach for it again.
I am prone to headaches and sometimes I have to stay away from this for that very reason (the kind of odd sweetness). Idk does anyone else have this problem? it's less intrusive than "interdit". There's nothing to dislike about this perfume - it's a sophisticated, classic scent. I dont understand these negative coments! I have a coworker that always smells bomb so I finally asked her what she was wearing and it was this! it's also more SFW than both of them. I received a sample of this in a set.The opening is the first in awhile that truly smells like orange blossom, but it quickly changed on my skin to almost a pepper-y heavy scent. Puts me in a good mood instantly. the scent brings me back to the 2000's because of how reminiscent of pez it is to me!!!
Found this one pretty unremarkable. I really like it, very uplifting and energizing! The dry down was rancid. I've had a sample of this for a while, so it's had a few years to macerate. I would describe this as floral woody - white florals would not have been my go to, but this one is pure delight. The only distinguishable note tho is jasmine. Another generic and boring sweet floral fruity that the market wouldn't even miss if it had never been released. Wearing the sample I had of this today, so I havent spent much time with it. I started off iffy on this one but grew to really enjoy it. it's a full bodied, juicy floral; slightly fruity, late spring/early summer vibes. it lasts for a long time so thats a biiiig bonus. The fact that they are the first 2 listed was the red flag. At the start, it definitely wasnt the most outstanding fragrance to me - I found it to be very sweet and uninteresting. Its more feminine, girly, flirty, fresh for warm summer days. its definitely not cute - its pretty. I love every single note listed here and fully expected to love this. Mmm, pure jasmine and honeysuckle goodness!
Might be my body chemistry but this smelled like playdoh on me. I'm disappointed and envious of the glowing reviews, but I have to defend the people who say it smells generic to them. I would almost even wear it myself, but one or more of the notes - the jasmine, I think - has such a loud synthetic edge that I can't stand to smell it except at some distance. Since it has musk in its base notes (I like musk), he gave me the tester to try. Everyone loves it and if you want attention, you will definitely get it with this!!! .
i'm loving it more the more i smell it, it's a floral scent without screaming "i'm a white floral perfume" in your face. Bergamot and orange blossom are the stars in the beginning of this perfume story. I have been experimenting with couple of My way's testers and oh girl! Its second only to Memo's Sintrawhich I get flashbacks of, This is my summer IT fragrance for 2022. I don't know why but it smells like Romania hahah. which is just perfect. This is a fresh jasmine scent that is reminiscent of jasmine tea. Its happy :) I mostly smell the jasmine. Pleasantly enjoying this sample. My Way is hard to dislike, but impossible to love. Just sweet sweet candy. Science Says Maybe, From the Gardens of Versailles to the Gardens of Babylon; The Allure of Olfactory Exploration Beckons at Jardin de Parfums, Armani My Way Eau de Parfum Spray ri (. To me its mostly flowers. Perfumes: 73,888 Still, it gives me grape candy vibes, similarly to what I get from Clean Reserves Acqua Neroli, though I like that one much less. So disappointed. Its so elegant and also most complimented fragrance on me. No need to be a snob, this is a beautiful scent. When I first sprayed it, my initial thoughts were that I didnt mind it but didnt love it and I thought it was too fruity for me. Smells like straight up bananas to me.
It's just everything, everything. I compared this scent to a box of fresh Jasmine tea I got from a Japanese market, and it was strikingly similar. Amazing scent that I wish lasted longer on my skin. Scintillating, beautiful orange blossom style floral. It is the best use of Virginia Cedar I have ever smelled. I can see this on the prettiest bachelor contestant in any given season. This is a gorgeous fragrance with the tuberose being dominant on me (which I love) my only dislike is the lasting power I really only get an hour or so & I cant smell it at all on clothes, on skin it lingers but I wish it was slightly louder/stronger but other than that its really nice & a safe blind buy. I'm not getting any of the floral notes. This perfume smells so pretty (not sexy) just a girl in a white dress walking by a garden pretty. They are so similar but the latter really pulls masculine on me after awhile and I feel like its for much more mature women than I am, for bossy ones to be exact. I definitely get jasmine from this. Ugh, I really dislike this. Survives on the skin even after a heavy duty shower with the intent to get rid of it! I associate white florals and tuberose as church scents because that seemed to be apart of the uniform growing up. The burst of orange blossom and bergamot in the first spray is so fresh and juicy, and I think I can smell berries or strawberries as well - very sweet and delectable. I can see this becoming a favourite because I can wear it anytime and its inoffensive. A fragrance that instantly makes me smile whenever I smell it. Unfortunately, on my skin, all I smell is "department store perfume.". I would sample every bottle I came across for months. For the longest time, I was obsessed with this scent. kind of want to go on a date just to wear this n see how the other person reacts lmao its so lovely id say its safe blind buy IF u like tuberose. It's definitely sweet but to me not in an artificial candy way.
crowd-pleasing and unoffensive! This is churchy based on my experience. It smells very synthetic. The bergamot sticks during the opening and middle. Safe blind buy as a gift for a teenager. I dont even detect the notes in it the way i could with my first two samples. An angry adolescent. If you don't like tuberose you will not like this perfume. I absolutely love this stuff. But if you love tuberose a lot, maybe for you!
This has already been tweaked/reformulated. It reminds me of my kindergarten's days and the scent is wayy to strong for me to ignore it. I get followed by hospital staff when I visit my mother's rehab when I wear One Way. And When I tell them I'm wearing My Way by Giorgio Armani I say it with pride! tuberose is usually a hit or miss with people and because it is in this i would recommend to try before you buy :D. I do not know what happened. Well - go figure .
This smells like a tuberose banana cream pie, if there were such a thing. To me this smells high quality. This gives me headache and its too much. I was hesitant to use my sample atomizer of My Way for the longest time because of the white floral triple threat in the notes pyramid (I tend to avoid too many at once bc my nose disagrees with the overly screechy/indolic variety), but this is all bubblegum, simple syrup and grape juice on my skin. Technically well done and absolutly repulsive for my taste. Or even love it.
Thankfully, those are floral notes that I like. I'm a huge Armani fan but this one was not good, so plain, too much tuberose, its a shame the first 7 seconds where so pomising and so delicious.but then just we are left with a suffocating tuberose disappointing Not a fan. It is bad. Nope! Had a sample of this, didnt enjoy it.
truthfully though, i'm big on aesthetics and i'm not loving the bottle at all. Umema: The Perfume That'll Never Be Smelled, Carner Barcelona - the Summer Journey Collection, Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum, Amber and Ambergris are Two Different Notes, Rice Perfumes That Stand Out From the Crowd, Should You Smell Someone Before Talking to Them?
I adore tuberoze and here its so light, beautiful and sensual. But I tried My Way on its own on me and I didnt like it. I can't tell you how many samples of this I have. The tuberose accord is grapey and strong and ALMOST but not too much, I love it! It is so pretty and positive. This is based on a small sample I got from Armani. But i'm not that girl, and thats ok. And I'm not a fan of citrus perfumes though I love the smell in nature. I adore this. My husband loves it and comments on how beautiful I smell every time I move by him. It's not a pleasant Jasmine. A little youthful, but not childish. It's a spring/summer scent but not too fresh that you can't wear it in the evening. What a surprise, I don't smell flowers that much in here and to me it's mostly (sweet) citrus. Whole lotta jasmine. Thanks to the tuberose, I get wafts of bubblegum during the first few hours after spraying. The dry down is just beautiful to me!
I'm getting a lot of fruit punch here, minus the pineapple.
Summertime on vacation from my childhood. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. But not this. Nothing inventive or unique will pass muster with the L'Oreal committee. There. So so good. Not what Im usually into, but its unique-ish for a designer fragrance. I am torn as to what season this is best for it, all signs (and apparently fellow reviewers) point to Spring/Summer, but it is just.a tad much, I think, for too hot of weather. This was a blind buy for me and I don't regret it one bit. I even asked the lady helping me test it to please smell the SO SCANDAL to see if they don't smell similar and she actually said they do. Is it worth purchasing the intense? Thankfully the creamyness of tuberose also begins to soften the loudness of the flower scent at this point. I went thru 2 sample vials before and after Christmas. This is like an intense version of SO SCANDAL. Im glad i didnt blind buy this.
its flirty n perfect for the warmer days. Its creamy, juicy, floral sweet, just right for a bride or prom or any event where you want to smell feminine and gorgeous. This fragrance has a young and fun feel without being too juvenile, though it does remind me of perfumes I wore in high school and college. One part soap, one part bubblegum, one part grandma's jasmine perfume, with a dash of sun oil. It's not my bag, I don't like tuberose enough to enjoy it this strongly! Its a major crowd pleaser too youll definitely turn heads and get compliments with this one.
I tried it before looking at the notes and OMG. I smelled the grape, but i really smelled the tuberose and other notes fighting to be front and center. Fresh tuberose and it ends with vanilla. Gourmand lover here. Bright, cheerful, feminine, and a tad too sweet. A lot of people describe this as grape candy but I don't think that does is justice. A youthful fragrance, pleasant overall. Now I haven't smelled any of the Scandal line, but really, this is the fruitiest tuberose/orange blossom combo I have come across and I don't know how much more grapey it can get than this. Went to try it in the store. Sweet, sort of air freshener sweet. I Don't like it.The bottle is so pretty but the scent is synthetic and cheap to my nose.It is sweet and floral and very boring,I don't get any white musk. It's a boring orange blossom scent.sits close to the skin and projection is mild.Lasting power about 3 hours on me.
But back to My Way: The generic name and package design are misleading, this perfume is much better than I expected. Longevity is a bit poor but the initial projection actually rather strong. I would say that My way is slightly greener and sharper on the opening whereas Sublime Epoque is sweeter. Vanilla note gives a little bit of warmness and the musky vibe in this scent goes really well. this perfume had me in a trance, it's green yet floral and musky. I understand the comparison to LInterdit, but in my opinion, the orange blossom note is much more pronounced in LInterdit. Honestly nothing special, just another "meh" perfume in a beautiful bottle. GAs My Way is so muchh better. Sugary, fruit candy tuberose. The notes are very well blended and the scent stays fresh and youthful during all stages. Not a groundbraking or unique perfume for sure but something about it just never fails to amaze me and it makes me feel so good and confident whenever I wear it. Yes, for sure. !i got a sample of his with my other parfume and im obss abt this!
Perfect for daytime in spring! I actually came here to find out what it is.
Even though I wore quite sometimes now, I never got complimented on, but I like it nevertheless.
And then the warmth of the base notes of vanilla/musk/and cedar came though. Love it. Very tuberose heavy, pure bubblegum scent, not what I was after at all. Orange blossom and tuberose remain prominent, and jasmine is barely there, just to give a slight filter to the former two. i think thats the musk and cedar coming through, as it just wears a little more naturally on the skin. The tuberose is quite dominating, but other than that it's well rounded and if you don't mind that particular note, you might just like this as an easygoing, mid-weight fragrance, very suitable during the day. I feel like this perfume really highlights all of the good parts of tuberose.
It smelled so good I bought a bottle for my sister and girlfriend who both loved it as well. The cedar is the only thing i am not familiar with so.possibly. My Way was created by Carlos Benaim and Bruno Jovanovic. I get about 8-10 hours out of it, and thats if I just spray it on my wrists and insides of my elbows - if its on my clothes, its still there the next day.
Way too sweet and there is something in it that i cannot describe what I absolutely dislike. It's sweet and musky but the floral touch gives it some maturity, I picture someone in their 20s or 30s wearing this. So Im trying it again tonight and its still a no. My new signature scent. From the start I get hint of strawberry also, even tough its not listed and it smells amazing. Fell in love with the gorgeous bottle (& commercial is also beautiful). I couldn't give you longevity because there's no way I would be able to full on body spray and survive, just being honest. . Sure I like unique scents too, but I very rarely find an occasion to wear statement making fragrances, and the perfumes I wear most often are the ones that smell lovely and inoffensive, with good lasting power and projection. However, initially I did like it because it was pleasant and made me feel happy. It's just way too strong for me and smells too mature. A young, almost sweet, almost fresh, floral. Love, love and love! This is exactly how I wanna smell on this summer. Kind of reminds me of a Victoria's Secret body spray but in a more refined way. Im gonna be that girl with this a little bit. I'm glad I only have a sample size. Unfortunately, I get a headache from this fragrance. As a girl from Virginia who loves more woody scents: This is a smoldering cauldron of Virginian Cedar chips, jasmine and tuberose bundles, topped with a sprinkling of bergamot. Revisiting my little splash bottle this is heavy on the orange blossom and tuberose. Nice if you want to try something light and maybe if it was on sale. As for me, its just not my bag, baby! I also barely get the bergamot, the opening is actually quite sweet and it reminds me of peaches. And it definitely stands out. Try this layered with Paris Hilton Heiress. I love jasmine and tuberose, so I was excited to sample this fragrance, but there's something about it that puts me a bit off. love it!!! Can't understand what combination of notes plays this trick on me. It's nothing special or unique, smells like every other heavy on the tuberose perfume I've smelled. Like first lady and usher board only this is giving preachers daughter and junior usher. It really is a beautiful fragrance. It's like that. Let me just tell you, I'm a waitress and I wear this at workmen are all over me mesmerized by this smell. I like it. The scent is cheerful, fresh, vivid, sweet and sour. I wanted to love it, because I love the other notes, but I guess I have to enjoy it on other people. Gives off a lovely scent cloud around you. I tried it when I stopped by Kohls and couldnt stop thinking about it. My Way by Giorgio Armani is a Floral fragrance for women. When I first tried it I thought it was a little too syrupy and bubblegummy. Not bad, but very unexpected. Gorgeous "signature scent" worthy perfume!
The frag just didnt seem to coalesce to me, but still found it very intriguing and i kinda wanted some.
Ive had compliments on this from both men and women. It must be a musk that does not agree with me (I basically AM white musk, WTAF?!?). Its not something I would wear but I wouldnt necessarily say I dislike it. All in all a well done 21st century perfume! But it lasts .5 seconds on me. however the weather is warm now and i just tried it on my skin and i am blown away.
Vanilla is more apparent an hour and a half later, never losing sight of the potent florals.

I'm getting a lot of fruit punch here, minus the pineapple.
its flirty n perfect for the warmer days.
