Coconut Passion by Victoria's Secret is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance for women. yumm yumm yummy its the yummiest smell ever! This would be perfect for that. Only the faintest hint of coconut. I am a huge lover of that suntan-lotion-summery-beach vibe and was convinced I was getting it when I blind-bought this. Will be back to review my thoughts when it has arrivedCant wait hehe : ). After reading previous posts I'm going to try layering it with other scents! The best coconut scent ever !!! One of my favorite scents next to jasmine that can be put into a fragrance is coconut. It's creamy and not sickening. Has anyone else gotten a new bottle recently & thought they changed this? The only problem is that it has no lasting power, but I mean it's a body splash after all. I'm actually starting to really like this.
If you like suntan lotiion coconut fragrances I would suggest avoiding this one until you can test it as you may not like it. This is femininine, sweet and inviting. I ended up desperately trying to scrub it off after wearing for 15 mins or so. The only con I can think of it's that it doesn't last on me, I wish it could stay longer on my skin, but it's a body splash so it's fine, I can always reapply. It's a soft, very well-balanced, sexy, cozy coconut vanilla. It smells delicious and edible; a lot of coconut/vanilla scents tend to smell synthetic, but this is proper creamy coconut and warm, sweet vanilla that smells quite natural.
very weak sunscreen, weirdly floral. I recall I use to find the scent way too sweet to be worn but then I fell in love with it. Recomend for all gourmand vanilla lovers out there. I always get comments, huge crowd pleaser, I wish I could get it in actual EDP or EDT or anything more concentrated than a body spray but it's pretty affordable so you can definitely respray. All of my girl friends loves it too!bThis is so much better than Vanilla Lace, because that one smells plastic.. I think this could be a great to layer with as well.
As others have said it reminds me of coconut macaroons. Scrumptious! Nice, but nothing super special. its a gift that was given to me and first time i tried it, OMG! But it's gotta be the EDP!
As many of the other reviewers have mentioned, the vanilla really does overpower the coconut - which in my opinion is a good thing. My boyfriend loves this on me more than any other frag.. I really like this, it's a little synthetic at first but it settles down into a warm vanilla coconut macaroon.
VS still has it online, but you can get a better deal somewhere else. This is definitely "Coconut"! For everyday wear, for the gym . It's soothing and warm and lovely. Not too much of anything, just perfect. It's not a fruity strong or deep coconut its more like a sugared coconut. its vanillai and coconuty, just like the name says!! If like me you have no other coconut, then this would be a good one to start with! I'll buy the EDP first, and sometimes then I'll buy the most and lotion with it--but I lost my most in a bathroom somewhere lol.. As long as I have the EDT, I'm good;) no alcohol! Love this as a after shower spritz with the body mist and sometimes layer other scent on top. I smell like a coconut macaroon! I have to say out of the other coconut fragrances, this one is by far the softest. A yummy coconut macaroon baking in the sun, crispy edges and all. Smells like a little souvenir from Hawaii or Tahiti. It is creamy, delicate and comforting blend of Coconut and Vanilla. It's very milky, silky,creamy,sweet and rich scent. It's delicious! It's okay. Great to wear in cooler months, big no for summer I would say.
Much too strong for me. Safe to say its my favourite from VS bodysprays. I'm in love with this one. The composition overall has a strong "buttery play-doh" vibe. I think its soo similar to Prada Candy, but, with a cheaper price. It smells warm, milky yet fresh at the same time! Very yummy.
On the edge I can get a strong caramel smell, something that drives me crazy! The lady told me they were discontinuing it! This is a real gem for someone like me who loves gourmand vanilla-coconut scents. Ill check the alcohol percentage and hopefully I can at least use it as a hand sanitizer. Just bought this one out of curiosity because I heard Kylie Jenner uses this. This scent should be called Vanilla passion. It gives these Victoria Secret scents a touch of herbal freshness like someone has offered you tea instead of perfume. There's a LOT of vanilla in this. nothing very special. Probably the best of Victorias Secret body sprays. Best of all is that it doesnt have that suntan vibe but can still be worn in the summer.
I chose two mists, then quickly grabbed this one because it had Vanilla. I was going to buy the shower gel and the lotion, but all they had was the shower gel and a tester of the lotion. one of my all time favs!!!! The Sillage and longevity are typical for a body spray. For the price however, I think its great. On me it's more pineapple and vanilla than coconut.
While not from their "prestige" fragrance lines, it is pleasing and long-lasting. My new Holy Grail fragrance! This is mostly like a deep vanilla with the slightest hint of coconut, not as tropical or beachy as you'd imagine. I wear it all year round, but in winter it's my jam. I love this. This smells more like vanilla than coconut. Coconut passion is one of the best VS body mists! Thankfully, the plastic dies down within minutes. This sents is all about coconut and vanilla. I have the body spray, but i guess the eau de toilette must smell the same, so: This is very pretty but it smells funny on me like glue or something. It smells like coconut cake. For a coconut fragrance this is for me one of the best I have tried surprisingly! I think this is a great office scent, but I must admit Ive been wearing it to sleep as I find it so calming :).
This smells like "The Body Shop Vanilla", but without the nasty flowers they have thrown in it nowadays. i never get bored of the sunny beachy smell of coconut and vainilla!!! Tried on in store felt gross till i could wash it off.
A good coconut-vanilla. Its a nice even mix of creamy coconut and warm vanilla with a subtle hint of green notes to keep it from being cloying or sickly sweet. So, I thought I'd be in love with this, but I think I just like it. Gave it promptly away to a coworker.

I can definitely see this being sickening if you spray too much, but if used right its a very young, cuddly scent. Coconut Passion gets the prize for sweetness without a trace of synthetic, overbearing screechiness! It can easily fill in a whole room. The coconut is more fragrant in the ET. Couple of hours later i started liking the coconut - vanilla blend .. it lasts VERY long too, i have had 15 or more VS perfumes so far and this one might just be the longest lasting one of them! Its delicious. Musky and weird scent that just kinda lingers around you. Really light, really beautiful! A bed room secret to seduce the one you love ;-). In short I was really impressed with it, and when people pass by they say that I smell like a dessert which for me is like a compliment. I haven't tried the EDT yet but the body mist I have to say is really strong and one of the few body mists with decent lasting power. To me, it's a perfect balance of vanilla and coconut, my two favourite scents, I wouldn't say it's tropical or anything, but more warm and sweet. And after that .nothing. This is a serious like, as now that it is warm outside, this luscious scent lasts much longer on me!

I love anything coconut flavoured, I swear by coconut oil as a beauty treatment and I absolutely adore its scent. Stays close to my skin, no sillage. It's tolerable. It's predominantly vanilla. This is absolutely delicious! I've always loved the smell of coconut and vanilla, and Coconut Passion has the perfect blend and balance between them. im going to keep trying it to see if i can get much more out of it, or if itll work under different conditions. On me it smells very strongly of vanilla and chamomile. I really love how VS have got the perfect mix of coconut and Vanilla, as I don't find this to be pure coconut, rather a nice mix of the both. It is just to die for, I'm not sure which I like more out of Bare Vanilla or Coconut Passion but they are both beautiful if you're a vanilla lover. That's it. This is a sweet-treat-dream, the best affordable vanilla fragrance ever! I have the EDT version. Good job VS. smells pretty good, like creamy coconut pulp with a few sprinkles of vanilla sugar. At first it gave me headaches but after wearing weeks i've started liking it.. Sillage is quite good and you will be trailing this scent for other people to sniff. This smells like coconut macaroons heavy with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla, not too heavy on the coconut though, which I appreciate as I find coconut notes can be suffocating to me. I have this in body mist and to me it smells like creme brle. How could I have gone so long without knowing about this?! I have the body mist bottle of this scent, and it smells like marshmallow's. Like baking vanilla muffins sprinkled with coconut on a winter night . However the longevity is about 30 min, id love if this body spray lasted longer on me. It was sharp, fake vanilla with heady, dank musk.
I like this one. Good bang for your buck, but you barely get any coconut from this scent.
I have the body mist, the body lotion and the handcream. When I spray it on in the morning, it lasts about 5 hours, starting out as a sweet coconutty vanilla and in the end leaving behind a slight trace of natural vanilla mixed with lily of the valley. For me it's one of the best summer scents out there, but also one of the most classic scents of the house as well. I've been wearing it for like 2 years and I still love it. I noticed that vanilla lace and other popular vanillas like warm vanilla sugar smells very alcoholy, play-doh-like, which makes it smell cheap, while coconut passion is that bold vanilla without those nasty, unnatural notes that keep some ppl away from v.secret/bath&body scents. I love sweet coconutty perfumes this one is one of the best..
With Victoria's secret I find when they get it right with their fragrances they really get it right. Only one thing comes to my mind every time I smell this; I feel like sipping Pina Colada at any of the Caribbean Island beach! If you like the smell of coconut tan lotion, it is for you. This honestly smells divine. That is not a bad thing as I love coconut and am enjoying this very much. I like it. This fragrance Is so sexy!! The lotion is by far my favorite product for skin lotion I have ever used. Wow very strong, so only wear this if you really like coconut to be extremely bold. So if you want to slay wear this one!
It reminds me of macaroons, I find it very pleasant but not very unique. In fact that's how I ended up with this scent, I smelt in on someone and loved the baked goods quality of it. I bought it as a blind buy because it was on sale. lasting power its great too :), Really smells like sunscreen. Unfortunately, I have to tread lightly with musk notes as they tend to turn into muuuuusk on me and that is just what this did. There's something almost smoky swirling about, which makes it good in cooler weather, too. They will, though, wrap you up in a nice, cozy, uncomplicated (generally only having 2 or 3 notes) scent that will last like an average body mist. I have all three of the Coconut Passion line. I am going to buy this fragrance mist next time I go shopping. It's light coconut with a touch of a flower, vanilla & musk that dries downtown an amazing vanilla & milky musk.i adore the musk in this. Still on the hunt for a great coconut summer fragrance! But first I got to say: I hate coconut and vanilla scents. I will note though that I think a lot of people who like coconut perfume like the suntan lotion type of note that often goes along with it just from what I have read so it is important to note that this fragrance doesn't have that which is why perhaps people are dissapointed. Sadly, I dislike this one. wove the scent into my brain like that. Men like it. They are light and they will not knock your socks off with lasting power or silage.
Not to mention the amazing smell last all day long. It smells kinda like a dessert, but it's not too sweet, if that makes sense. smells delicious and lasts a looong time. i got this for the reviews saying its more vanilla and sweet. Which includes the body mist, the body wash, and the lotion. What's odd is that it doesn't even last 15 minutes on my body and clothes, but when I use it as a room spray, it's like I just walked into a room-sized coconut and lasts for like 45 minutes haha. This one smells like creamy, sweetened coconuts. When I first sprayed on Coconut Passion, I was overwhelmed by the aroma of French toast with maple syrup. At first I smell the coconut, but immediately the vanilla appears like the real star! I love the fact that the vanilla or the coconut overpowers the other things in there. Furthermore, it doesn't have to remain limited to summer wear only (like I feel many coconut centered fragrances do). The vanilla is equally as strong as the coconut in this, I think. I think it makes me feel exotic and I immediately feel more relaxed. I own this and never in the million years would I think that there is lily of the valley in this scent. Cheap smelling coconut vibes are about maybe max 15% of this cheap olfactory weird flat concoction. a gorgeous blend of coconut, vanilla & hint of lily of the valley, this really is a wonderful aroma, i love the smell of coconut but i much prefer sweet coconut which this has, my hubby hates coconut but even he likes this! I honestly thought there would be more coconut considering the name. I like it! I'm a self-confessed coconut fanatic. Finally my Mist and EDT arrived this morning! I love vanilla, and have a few fragrances entirely devoted to days I want to wear vanilla as a big fuzzy blanket, and live in it. Very impressed with this! For someone who loves gourmands this is dreamy and divine. <3 I actually love every scent that has vanilla/coconut in it as long as it stand out, and this is just perfect, as I previously said.
i used to wear this more often and i got quite a few compliments on it though :). The one pictured (the glass bottle) is the one that I am referring to . Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. Overall, the scent reminds me very much of vanilla shortbread with a hint of coconut. It is such a nice coconut scent. I do get alot of vanilla. The best description for this is 'Creme Brulee', milky, caramelized and sugary. When I first smelled it I got a hint of vanilla and tropical coconut. I like to use a little bit when I spray Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna. I love the body mist so much. I looked forward to getting this in mail all of last week, i LOVE sweet fragrances so much! And during those 2 hours or less all I could smell was vanilla. I only got it a couple of hours ago:-). It lasts decent amount of time, specially for being a VS body mist. I really like it though. And I love that because I like to match actual shampoos with perfumes. As always, if you don't like gourmand fragrances, stay away from this. I really don't understand why this is called coconut passion. I'm generally not big on gourmands, but I was craving the scent of coconut, so I decided to pick this up. :-(. It is a sexy scent which your lover will smell when embracing you. It's spring in the south hemisphere, so I bought this. Its not sensual to me, but definitely pleasant and inoffensive compared to many scents alike. Not a bad smell, I just wish it was more unique. Aloe vera and chamomile shouldn't be included in the notes, they're actual ingredients in the body spray and not notes. It is a juicy coconut with a fruity vibe to it. But it's different from other vanillas on me.. Must be coconut peeking through somewhere. I get tons of compliments when I wear it, it's my summer go-to scent. And that's what's so appealing about it.. It works just as well in the winter as it does in the summer and doesn't smell like tanning lotion. In a good way though. I'm really wanting this one. its nothing expencive at all, and it last long long time on me! its just a good summer scent for freshening up. This is a solid like, not a must-have love. It is very sweet, and most people I walk by tend to comment on how they smell bakery/cupcake/gourmand. It's great for year round imho. They're simple and inexpensive, especially if you can find them on sale. Yuck! oh my god!!! lasting power quite good, very gourmet smelling if you like "foody" perfumes this ones a winner!! This is really nice. But for vanilla I'd rather go with Vanilla Lace. But I prefer the smell of this one, for the added sexiness and vanilla.
