People keep referencing thisY little 'cube' tool that attaches to a 3/8 ratchet that has different sides to fit different styles of turn-pistons - will this thing work for the Matrix? As you turn, resistance from the piston will keep it from being pushed in. 
Fronts were fairly easy to do. Also, note the orientation of the raised posts on the back side of the brake pad. I borrowed a rear caliper screw in tool from AutoZone but, can't seem to get the piston to turn one way or another. Q1: to push to pistons IN, do I turn clockwise or counter-clockwise?? I finally got it but what a bitch. I didn't change the fluids but I removed the cap off the reservior and took out, with a syringe, at least 10 cc of fluids. Which direction does the rear brake piston turn? Getting old but still a serious contender that turns heads with that distinctive Jaguar styling. Recently My Car Has Been Making Grinding And Screeching Noises Every Time I Step On How To Bleed Brake System After Mastercylinder Replacement.

If your car has the aluminium-bodied calipers then the books/workshop manuals say (I believe Haynes and ELSAWIN too) to wind the pistons in clockwise to replace pads etc?
