The meals, created by Chef Lemerond and Chef Eddie Lopez, were especially well prepared and presented. The Bar staff are Kind Friendly and Engaging. Closed Sunday/Monday. Kitchen always clean but cooks does not wear gloves. I had the Pacific Northwest Burger and highly recommend. All of that thought, I will say the awsome staff makes this a five star experience. Unfortunately, after leaving a restaurant that was unwilling to substitute chili for meat on their nachos, we ended up trying to come here. Ketchikans favorite burger joint is definitely not a chain. More like it was sauted on a skillet (adobo).

I just had one of the local beers. We were both full but decided to split the Butterscotch Molly dessert because of the old-fashioned butterscotch and it did not disappointso yummy! Experience unexpected hospitality on the waterfront in a relaxing environment. In a little strip mall next to Safeway, the small cafe has light breakfasts and sandwiches for lunch, plus free wi-fi and strong espresso. Ten varieties, including one with a Polish sausage and a hamburger patty, plus 30 flavors of milkshake are served out of a small space just north of the road tunnel. I would highly recommend. Had great conversations and great service! I'm definitely coming back here on my next trip to Alaska! He told me most of their staff come here when ship docks. The servers were so understaffed but so kind about it and did the best they could. Friendly safe, lovely assortment of baked goods and pastries, I prefer a sweeter coffee and got just that. Marketing itself as a shoppe as opposed to a shop (think home-baked cakes and staff in flowery aprons) Ketchikans prime source of sugar replenishment plies the best sweet morsels in town, if the frosted banana and Nutella cake is anything to go by. Its the cutest little spot with amazing food. You just can't get pizza like this in Florida. Bog-standard but extensive grocery store on the side of Plaza Mall with a salad bar, a Starbucks, deli and ready-to-eat items, including Chinese food, and a dining area overlooking the boat traffic on Tongass A good selection for a town of this size, although the prices could be better. It's American, Chinese food, so Basically it is ok-ish. First of all, inexpensive craft beer was served, alongside some of the best burgers we've ever had. All I can say is, Gotta have it! Beneath the historic New York Hotel is this wood-paneled cafe which doesn't seem to have changed much decor-wise since its Roaring 1920s opening if you don't count the food, which has doffed its hat to modern trends (ceviche and falafel included). The place is beautiful and easy to get to from anywhere in the tourist area of town. I found this place by accident. I don't know how he does it, but his dark chocolate perfectly compliments the sweet dark chocolate of the Oreo cookie and the cream center offsets the bitter of the dark chocolate perfectly.
