The pair to one of the modified shoes (made by ecco) has just crumbled the first day she wore it after getting the shoes back from the hospital dept, and I am afraid that the others may do so. Just recently I bought a pair of Fusion Moc Toe shoes. I have worn Ecco shoes for years and had the same problem. Too bad, but I guess just another sign of the times. I mailed them in to Ecco and got a voucher for 50% off a replacement pair. Im two year late in discovering what apparently so many others have learned about ECCOs shoe fiasco. Bummer. On the plus side, thats great. It doesnt sound like there will be any compensation. Im a management consultant who quit wearing suit and tie years ago. Only about half of the soles are left after walking about a mile.

If you buy Ecco shoes and wear them you better bring an extra pair of shoes. First time to wear the boots after buying them several years before. The pair to one of the modified shoes (made by ecco) has just crumbled the first day she wore it after getting the shoes back from the hospital dept, and I am afraid that the others may do so. Just recently I bought a pair of Fusion Moc Toe shoes. I have worn Ecco shoes for years and had the same problem. Too bad, but I guess just another sign of the times. I mailed them in to Ecco and got a voucher for 50% off a replacement pair. Im two year late in discovering what apparently so many others have learned about ECCOs shoe fiasco. Bummer. If you buy a car and let it sit it will eventually not work! My partner was another unsuspecting victim of these self-destructiong Ecco shoes.
