Hi Tressa, you could use an artist quality PVA and mix with plaster (that youd use at home for wall repairs), then you can change the ratio of PVA to make it more flexible, but too much PVA can give a shiny surface for the subsequent paint layers to adhere to. its not a pouring medium but has a tar-like quality to it. The acrylic medium that can also be used to great effect for collage techniques is Golden Soft Gel Gloss. The rheology thickener helps the medium to stay in a fixed shape rather than level out.
