The nightlife is pretty lame. While in pool there are not many places to get real food other than the barefoot grill which served same thing daily and the burgers were not real beef. That's what it's all about in the long run anyway!Feel free to contact me with any questions. It was nice to have them there because I got some great stuff to bring home like a lamp and a nameplate necklace but I found myself going all the way around that area of the hotel to avoid them because of the pushiness and the pressure. That was until I read the form he wanted me to sign which was for a vacation club, which is like a time share. Even thought the resort was at capacity we never felt like it was - even at meal times. Additional charge, Laundry Ambiance was cool with nice decor. No pressure from him - which is why I bought some cigars and appreciated his advice. That was just one tiny aspect for a short amount of time on 2 different nights so not that a big enough of a deal to not go back. I would recommend to anyone to just say you aren't interested and keep on going. * The Moments lobby area was a nice area to go at the end of the evening to relax and have a cocktail. I called and was told that they were just about to prepare my hamburger - nothing fancy, just a burger. No Reservations at restaurants long wait times, Breakfast Buffet had food shortages all the time, and the variety was very limited, I wish there was a bit more to do on the resort outside of excursion but it's definitely a place to go if you just want to relax. There are more kids in the nightclub with their parents than there are adults. The beach was not good at all, as it was full of seaweed on the coastline. Not enough umbrellas in main pool to rest from hot sun. That was worth the price of admission for us. Only stayed 2 nights so I had to pay $35 is not bad. My nephews (8y and 4y) had a lot of fun. Beautiful beach. Very friendly atmosphere at the Preferred pool. All newly renovated rooms have a private balcony or terrace with views of the Caribbean Sea or the tropical garden, plus new room categories such as Family Junior Suite, Master Suite and Swim outs. Save your money and tip housekeeping (and tip them early - that way you'll always get extra towels). animals are kind of like a dog in the sense of they will smell it and they will come! -It is impacably clean, I don't think I ever stayed at the hotel that clean, I couldn't stop wondering how they keep it that well maintained. I can not fault this hotel in any way, and may I tell you I am a rather fussy person when service,cleanliness, etc is involved, but this holiday I can say was worth it. And by pretty lame, I mean completely weak. The campaign will focus on our commitment to guest wellness as we redefine the Unlimited-Luxury all-inclusive resort experience with even higher safety and hygiene limitations. Now Sapphire offers a variety of outdoor activities, including beach and pool aerobics, tennis, eurobungee or watersports(non motorized). It is open from 9 to 9:30 in the evening, I saw in the sign-in book, some kids were at the club all day long. I get that they have to make a living but I found it bothersome.The Cigar Guy (name escapes me now) can be found in the lounge every night. I was very dissatisfied with Hibachi dinner as it was poorly cooked and very salty. If you find a lower price, we guarantee to match it and give you an additional $25 discount off the matched price. Kids pool and water slide including kids exploration area was great. We didn't know much about the resort other than what we've researched online and overall we were pleased with our decision to stay here.Like mentioned in previous reviews, the resort is lovely, very clean and spacious. Same can be said for just about anyone working there.Entertainment was great - a bit cheesy but still fun. I also LOVE these AMAZING hand painted mini surfboards shaped paintings (he was over by the pool and not pushy at all unlike the other vendors) that I got. If you're going to try that, book it for either early in the morning (before 11am) or late afternoon. You can't walk through that section of the hotel without all of them trying to get your attention and push you to buy something. Those are the best times as the beach isn't too crowded. The pools are big so you can find your own spot to relax. Breakfast buffet opens at 7am, and has a wide range of options. For themain dining 24/7, the marketplace Cafe, we had to eat dine in only. My complaint about 'Mexican Night' (which was overall a great night) was that a marketplace was set up around the theater and the local merchants harassed everyone as they walked in. The online app for activities and general details was helpful. There is a little cafe that opens at 6am for early risers. The adult pool was great. And they had to walk even under the rain. WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.
Everyone in my family liked the French restaurant. My wife and I upgraded to the Preferred Club. The best of all is the restaurant and pool Staff, they are SO nice and always trying to spoil you, and make you feel like home. We ordered room service one night - was told it would take approx. The food and drinks were always available.The pool bar was fabulous!Staff very helpful.The beds are to die for.Would totally recommend.Everything you need is there.Also I would recommend the tour. He'll talk to you about cigars and doesn't really seem to mind if you buy or not. My nephews (8y and 4y) had a lot of fun. Beautiful beach. Very friendly atmosphere at the Preferred pool. All newly renovated rooms have a private balcony or terrace with views of the Caribbean Sea or the tropical garden, plus new room categories such as Family Junior Suite, Master Suite and Swim outs. Save your money and tip housekeeping (and tip them early - that way you'll always get extra towels). animals are kind of like a dog in the sense of they will smell it and they will come! -It is impacably clean, I don't think I ever stayed at the hotel that clean, I couldn't stop wondering how they keep it that well maintained. I can not fault this hotel in any way, and may I tell you I am a rather fussy person when service,cleanliness, etc is involved, but this holiday I can say was worth it. And by pretty lame, I mean completely weak. The campaign will focus on our commitment to guest wellness as we redefine the Unlimited-Luxury all-inclusive resort experience with even higher safety and hygiene limitations. Now Sapphire offers a variety of outdoor activities, including beach and pool aerobics, tennis, eurobungee or watersports(non motorized). At least for the reserved section as you pay more it would be nice if every room was assigned a palapa. Property size was perfectgood amount of walking but didn't require a golf cart to get places.
It is open from 9 to 9:30 in the evening, I saw in the sign-in book, some kids were at the club all day long. I get that they have to make a living but I found it bothersome.The Cigar Guy (name escapes me now) can be found in the lounge every night. I was very dissatisfied with Hibachi dinner as it was poorly cooked and very salty. If you find a lower price, we guarantee to match it and give you an additional $25 discount off the matched price. Kids pool and water slide including kids exploration area was great. We didn't know much about the resort other than what we've researched online and overall we were pleased with our decision to stay here.Like mentioned in previous reviews, the resort is lovely, very clean and spacious. Same can be said for just about anyone working there.Entertainment was great - a bit cheesy but still fun. I also LOVE these AMAZING hand painted mini surfboards shaped paintings (he was over by the pool and not pushy at all unlike the other vendors) that I got. If you're going to try that, book it for either early in the morning (before 11am) or late afternoon. You can't walk through that section of the hotel without all of them trying to get your attention and push you to buy something. Those are the best times as the beach isn't too crowded. The pools are big so you can find your own spot to relax. Breakfast buffet opens at 7am, and has a wide range of options. For themain dining 24/7, the marketplace Cafe, we had to eat dine in only. The service was great and one particular person who shone above everyone was Jullian the waiter in the Blue water resturant a credit to the hotel a person who worked hard through his shift and was very helpful and chatty but still doing his job. We never were able to make reservations for any restaurants b/c we didn't want to waste hours in line. We booked a junior suite for a family of four - one king sized bed and two cots. We mainly hit the buffets and ordered room service. We wanted to eat at Lemongrass (Thai place), which showed open on the app, but when we got there we were informed it was converted to the Hibachi for that night. Hubby loved the mochas! My wife was not feeling well one night, so I took a few other women over to the resort next door called the Excellence (Snuck in via the beach) and went to their nightclub. Cristhian in the Preferred Lounge was very helpful and accommodating on arrival when I had a booking mishap. We had a jungle facing room near the Preferred Pool. My complaint about 'Mexican Night' (which was overall a great night) was that a marketplace was set up around the theater and the local merchants harassed everyone as they walked in. The online app for activities and general details was helpful. There is a little cafe that opens at 6am for early risers. The adult pool was great. And they had to walk even under the rain. WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.
Everyone in my family liked the French restaurant. My wife and I upgraded to the Preferred Club. The best of all is the restaurant and pool Staff, they are SO nice and always trying to spoil you, and make you feel like home. We ordered room service one night - was told it would take approx. The food and drinks were always available.The pool bar was fabulous!Staff very helpful.The beds are to die for.Would totally recommend.Everything you need is there.Also I would recommend the tour. He'll talk to you about cigars and doesn't really seem to mind if you buy or not. Guests constantly fight over the beach and pool chairs. No one likes to be scammed. My only complaint is trying to get a palapa at the beach.
