For a very long time and on every model Tactile Turn has produced thus far he has used a super strong bent steel clip that is a simple, yet effective workhorse. This plus the BAKs pen-like shape makes an excellent as true precision workcutting out newspaper articles (do people even get newspapers anymore?) But on these side clicks, you press this little button on the side, which pops the plunger right back out. To open the pen, push down on the plunger. The Side Click fixes that problem and buries the tip deep inside the pen fixing literally my only beef with Tactile Turn pens ever. I still think I prefer fountain pens, but I always have two different pens with me and if I am going on a trip or traveling, I usually ditch the more fragile fountain pen and just go with an EDC pen and for now, this will be my choice. This also means you probably wont be able to replace the Pilot ink with some other ink. The MMC is still a very good pen, but I think I like the Side Click better, as it is grippier and just a more sophisticated design.

A wonderful evolution of the TT aesthetic and design language. The refill that ships with the pen is my favorite ballpoint refillthe Schmidt EasyFlow 9000. This pen is much thicker than my beloved Bic Clic Stic, and that took some getting used to. Being that this is a special edition, theres also a special edition card included. I am not sure if Tactile Turn makes this spring as well, but its quite big and springy. I certainly have never had an issue with the built quality. This has become a pretty distinct feature of Wills pens that acts as visual interest as well as grip. The length. But it is to say they have a characteristic titanium thread feeling.
