Just got back from Bahia Coba and it was awesome. Every morning, there were workers on the beach at sunrise raking the sea**** out. The Kimpton ALUNA TULUM offers a pleasant stay in Tulum for those traveling for business or leisure. Those that travel during the better months have a lovely beachfront area to look forward to at Hotelito Azul.

At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Its beautiful you can get your cabana right on the beach and just chill out. There was also a disgusting smell from it. This Tulum hotel features parking on site.

I'm not a picky eater but the food was downright disgusting. The owner who didnt give me a refund, not so nice and also very greedy! For balance here are some positives: The staff was relatively nice. The aesthetic and details of the hotel are perfect for making you feel like youre living in a whimsical jungle. I do not understand how anyone can say the food was good.
What ensued after that was just pure chaos. There were some instances where they will talk crap about you in Spanish( assuming you cant understand them) but not a big deal. we complained and they said they could move us into the correct room tomorrow. The hotels, including Hotelito Azul, do their best to remove as much seaweed from the beach as possible, but man, is it an uphill battle. The physical location of the hotel is ideal because it isnt too far down into the beach strip, which traffic became pretty bad the further you drove in. I understand it's hard to keep up with.

If you are looking for a nice place in the center of town try Downtown Tulum Hotel or Carpe Diem, those places are way better! I guess you cant make everyone happy.
